PS4 the first consumer product to feature DTS-HD Audio 7.1 decoder
According to a press release at DTS’ own website, the PS4 features a new DTS-HD decoder that makes you able to play games with the same audio quality as the ones we get from bluray and HD video streaming. The console is the first consumer product to get treated with this decoder.
You can play games with the best possible sound, 7.1 surround sound, both with disc based games, but also digital delivered content.
