Borderlands the Pre-Sequel bestest easter egg [UPDATED]
I love fairy tales, especially the ones adapted and put into movies by Disney. The Sword in the Stone is one of them, you know the tale of King Arthur as a boy meeting Merlin, the wizard with the clever owl, and England needing a king? Yeah that one, where there’s a sword forged into a stone, which only a person worthy of ruling England can pull out from the stone.
Borderlands the Pre-Sequel has a reference to this fairy tale. The sword in the stone is named Excalibur, and Borderlands version is named Excalibastard. No one has been able to pull it from the stone (or well, take it down from the force field holding it above the stone), however the description implies that you just have to have a high enough Badass level to pull it.
Check out the video from ZiggyD below where he examines and talks about the weapon nobody uses yet.

Update:
Someone tampered with the game files (I assume on the PC version) to inflate their stats and badass rank. Turns out you need a rank of 2500 in badassery. You can see it on action on the below link.
