E3: Electronic Arts Media Briefing
Welcome to the Electronic Arts Media Briefing at E3 2013. EA is ready to show us the next sleeve of sports games, not to mention their racing series, Need for Speed, Dragon Age and Battlefield games. Join in for our opinion on their media briefing – note that some stuff is not mentioned as I focused on what I found interesting.
Note that you can watch the show at its entirety at the bottom of this article, so if you prefer to do that instead of reading, be my guest.
EA started their show by showing off a surprise: Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. It is a third person shooter, featuring the plants and zombies of the known and popular franchise. Will be class-based balance, which I quite like. This might be my Team Fortress 2 for a while.
A Titanfall developer video to give some insight to the behind the scenes development.
Star Wars Battlefront announced
Need for Speed: Rivals showcased, followed by announcement of a movie based in the franchise.
Dragon Age: Inqusition got a long showcase of the game with a lot of additional information.
Sports games galore, including Fifa, Madden, UFC and the long awaited NBA Live.

Then they explained a little big of Battlelog and how it works (game information and statistics) and then showed us some multiplayer gameplay.
And last, but absolutely not least – something that made the crowd go wild, they announced a sequel to the critically acclaimed Mirror’s Edge.
