Gaming Daily: Issue 9

Another day with no gaming. However a lot has been going on today. Big Christmas shopping, we were able to get all the needed presents, including small funny items for the parcel dice game we’re gonna have on Christmas eve.

Before we went to the mall, we had to go and pick up a few things from two other stores (I’ll refrain from including which kinds as this is getting available for everyone to see), and it went pretty smoothly – but when we finally went to the mall, there were basically no parking spaces left, but we did manage to find one.

When we got inside the number of people was like getting punched in the stomach, it was that packed. I am normally not sensitive to large groups pf people, but this was a little too much. It did got better though, and we (fiance and I) each managed to get what we needed there. Now, I just hope the last two presents for him gets here before the big evening – I know one of them will, but I am a little concerned with the other.

The mall had a lot of Christmas decorations up, I felt like a child again. A mini winter wonderland with Santa’s elves, raindeers, a sledge and cute little houses. And I am not even mentioning the more adult decorations – one of them being the tree in the picture at the top and beautiful icicles of light around the edge of the roof on the outside.

After we came home, a lot of relax happened, but I managed to prep the Alien: Isolation review a bit – I’ll be posting that soon.
