Daily Gaming: Issue 4
Played almost nothing today. I was able to cram in a few rounds in Super Smash Brothers for Wii U right before bed time (in retrospect, I should have skipped it), but there was other things today I had to tend to.
As usual, I am way too distracted to work concentrated, way too many things to keep in the loop on – facebook, twitter, mails and more, so it takes me most of the times a whole day to write and publish a review. But I got it done at least.
My review of Sonic: Rise of Lyric is now up and online – however it is danish. For the english speaking crowd, you have to use google translate if you’re too curious about my opinion on the game, or you can read the short review below. You can find the full review here.
Here’s my short take on the game; The game is not made by Sonic Team, and you’ll feel it instantly – something is off and it’s not in the positive direction. The game has some good things such as inventive puzzles, weapons and technology for the characters and a lot of friendship in the game. It’s a shame this is being ruined by bad camera handling and controlling the characters aren’t very well done. What I hate the most is that I am forced to play with the gamepad if I play alone.
As said, I’ve begun to play some Super Smash, and so far the game feels great, but I have to read up on combos and tricks, as I have no clue what I am doing.
