Every oldschool gamer who fondly remembers Populous and Populous 2 really needs to check out From Dust. Seriously.

Whatever you do, DON’T get the PC version. From what I’ve read it’s been completely butchered. So badly that Steam has pulled it from their lineup, and offered refunds to those who bought a PC copy through their service. Buy it for PS3 or 360 instead. (Haven’t played the 360 version, but it looks and plays beautifully on PS3).

It’s the DRM on the PC version of From Dust that was bothering gamers around. Haven’t read anything about Driver: San Fran and that games DRM yet though – any of you guys heard anything?

I’ve never even heard of Populous. From what i’ve seen of From Dust though it looks kind of like a cross between lemmings and sim city!
