The Whitakers Presents: Milton & Friends 3D

Brush your foal, feed it, and raise it! Choose between 25+ different breeds to play with, and give the foals their own personality and trademarks.

Your help is needed

The famous showjumper Milton greets you as you turn up at the farm, and he needs your help. There’s too much work to do on the farm, and new costumers keep turning up with their foals – some needs to be cleaned, others needs to be fed, played with or trained.

The tasks are quite simple; brush and wash the foal all over the body, but be careful around the head, hold the bottle the right so that the foal can feed properly, throw the ball and get your timing skills right to make the foal do tricks. All these things adds to the foals experience and fulfilling the quest at hand.

Quests

While you can complete the quests, you can always raise your own foal too; choose breeding, colour for fur and mane/tail, then the haircut. While you won’t be competing in showjumping or dressage, you can enter into beauty pageants against other players – this does require you to be near someone else with a 3DS and the game, who also have entered into a contest.

The game comes with a list of medals, achievements if you will. While Nintendo does not gather the medals gained in one place like Xbox 360 and Ps3 does, most developers have seen the light and knows that gaining medals in a game is highly popular. The medals goes from brushing your foal 5 times to trick train it 100 times, completing the quests and raise a number of foals.

Mostly for girls

Horses and simple tasks, and no shooting or complicated missions – and the story isn’t deep. This equals young people, and more girls than boys are fond of horses, so it’s pretty easy to come to the conclusion: if your little girl has a 3DS and like horses, this is a nobrainer, she will simply love this game.

The score is based on the target market.

I do not have any preferences in games, and I do not oppose to what others are playing. But it baffles me every damn time someone says; "I do not like playing video games" . People be crazy sometimes I guess...
