EA’s conference is now starting, showing off heaps of game logos for their partners and the games they’ve published and intend to publish later.

John Richtman welcomes everybody. Sound is horrible, his microphone is scurring against his clothes – I’m having a hard time listening to him. Picture isn’t great either. First trailer is on – Dead Space 3 is now well confirmed to reach our home consoles. Nice. New locations, frozen planet, drop-in/drop-out Co-op! Gameplay session begins: Looks intense, huge, beautiful boss fights and lots of swearing – can’t wait to get this game to play with other people! (Even that I haven’t played the two first games… yet.) Set for February 2013.

Another trailer starts on the screen – looks like the next NFL game, with a little more story behind it. Turns out to be Madden NFL 13. Powered by the new Infinity Engine – runtime physics, most authentic gameplay ever. Interaction between players is more organic – if he’s hit he might trip, speed and momentum plays a role and smaller vs bigger players will benefit the bigger one. You can regain your balance and fight for a few more yards. Dramatic storyline, something that the trailer unveiled. A NFL player enters the stage and talks with John, and tells a little bit about NFL and Superbowl wins. John tells that you can even be Robert Madden in the game. Upgradable players, you can create your own character, and retire that one if you want to try with another one – twitter is showing ingame – the game can even be managed on your PC, smartphone and tablet. “With physics you can feel”.

New person onstage, SimCity developers Maxis. Presenting SimCity Social for Facebook. Stop doing that, I don’t have time for this, I already use way too much time in Sims Social! Game looks fun. “More City, Less Ville” – making a punch towards Zynga, huh? Nice one.
Trailer for the “full” SimCity emerge, looks a little nicer and detailed than the browser version which is understandable. Will include online multiplayer with challenges. You will connect to other cities as well – another trailer is shown to round it up. Fires can happen, even GodZilla can emerge and destroy your city.

If you buy Premium now, you can get to play Close Quarters already with the early access. Trailer for the DLC packs is shown.

Immediately the Star Wars theme plays. The Star Wars MMO; Star Wars The Old Republic. The presenter talks a bit about the game, the sales and the milestones the game reached in just 6 months. Promising more content for the game, more classes, more planets, more battlezones. Trailer starts. New companion, new level cap, warzone, world and much more – very nice cinematic trailer.
22:39
Medal of Honor. The host tells a little bit about the game, such at it’s made with the frostbyte 2 engine. Gameplay session starts. Looks pretty generic to me, nothing new. Title will be Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Ten nations included in the game. A cinematic trailer to round up the show of the game.
22:47
EA Sports logo shows onscreen. The presenter shows their lineup with this years new inventions, rounding the list off with fifa, their biggest sports franchise – a fifa trailer is shown. Fifa will have a social network, more connected than ever, included fifa street and euro games. Called EA Sports Football Club, will also be on browser(PC) and Android, and iPhone – live auctions will play a part too. Fifa 13 will capture drama and real life football. “Freedom in creativity and attack.” New attacking possibilities. World premiere on gameplay trailer.
22:53
A short trailer for UFC shows on screen. The presenter and someone from the UFC talks for a few minutes, announcing the next game in the series.
22:57
A cinematic trailer begins, and I thought it was the UFC game – I was wrong . It looks like the next NFS game – and it is. Most Wanted reboot is now announced officially. Made by Criterion, and it will be an open world driving game – another open wold driving game you say? Okay. A sim and an arcade one (Microsoft announced Forza Horizon who will also be an open world driving game) that sounds alright to me. I think I’ll stick with this one, the arcade one. gameplay session starts: The game looks so fun, I can even feel the impacts from the chasing police car, and I’m not even playing the game! The player have chosen a Porche to drie in – at one point he drives up some stairs, and smash through a sign with the Criterion logo on it – could it be ingame ads when the game releases? The gameplay session ends when he jumps over a freeway. Launching in october.
23:05
Crytek logo on the screen appears. Gotta be Crysis 3. Showing off the already released artwork, and telling the crows about their ambitions of the game. Gameplay session begins. Another shooter with a female voice as commander – I see a trend here. Futuristic shooter with the elements you expect from a shooter – nothing new here. The cinematic scenes looks amazing though.
