Gaming Daily: Issue 6

Another day going by with no gaming. Even that I’ve had time for it, it’s just been like I haven’t had energy to even think about starting something up, much less Smash Bros. which is a high-energy game.

I’ve assembled a dresser today while taking pictures for the stop-motion video I am making as school project. I am curious on how well I can make this work, but I know I have the vision for it – just wish I had more space and a green screen would have been even better for me to reach the high quality I am going for. Or wish I could go for.

Anyway, I managed to pull through and assemble it before my man got home. At least I was not in his way, which was my goal. The biggest issue right now is the few times I managed to kick to the tripod the camera was on, which makes for some odd movements in the final video.

Since I haven’t gamed at all today, I am gonna talk a bit about region-locking, and not just in games, but also other stuff. Playstation EU is holding a contest for the (fantastic looking) Anniversary edition PS4 – 20 consoles to be given away – and there were just so many americans in the comments being baffled that they weren’t allowed to enter.

Well, there’s so much things that are being offered to the americans from Microsoft and Sony, and I am often bummed out that I can’t enter in the competition or order an item so I don’t really pity the americans – they’ll most likely get their own PS4 anniversary contests soon enough. Most recently is the LittleBigPlanet 3 harddrive cover for the PS4; not so much for having it on my machine, but more so for the novelty. There’s no way for me to get hold of it unless I’ll pay heavy money to a reseller on ebay, and there’s no way I’ll do it.

Ended the day with watching Xander at Twingalaxies playing some Destiny over at Twitch, and actually for a moment I wanted to go back there. I will, at some point, but probably not before they add trophies (I have it on PS4) to the game or when I am ready to try and finish the game trophy wise.

Tomorrow I’m editing my video, and with a bit of hard work and luck, I might have the video ready for you guys to enjoy!

Daily Gaming is a daily blog posted sometime throughout the day, covering what’s been happening since the last blog post. My quest is to make a blogpost everyday for a year (365 posts) that will focus on the games I play but sometimes include movies I’ve seen or what have happened around me in my daily life.
