The distinction between the Transformers games

When I reviewed Transformers: Dark of the Moon for Wii, I promised you a follow up on the distinction between the Wii version and the version for Xbox360 and Ps3 – Activision was nice and handed over a version for the Xbox 360.

I’ve been playing it for a couple days, and I got pretty hooked. The experience is more polished, and another experience in the end. While there’s stealth force mode in both games (which were introduced in the latest movie, so I guess this was a must for the games) the graphics and the story seems to be miles apart.

The Wii version is more fastpaced and doesn’t have the robot mode, so this game is moreso a driving shooter, while the bigger one tends to be a first person shooter – for that I kind of like the Wii version more because I found it to be more fun. The bigger version is more varying so in this way more players would find this game to be superior, including me. The graphics is no doubt more polished and beautiful in the Xbox version and the story is also more thought through with a little bit better voice over.

Boss fights in the bigger version is also more epic, as they change gameplay and how to beat the boss – the Wii version seems to be the same most of the time. Both games changes sides from Autobots to Decepticons during the career, depending on which mission you’re playing – I would really have liked two different stories, one for each faction.

I do not have any preferences in games, and I do not oppose to what others are playing. But it baffles me every damn time someone says; "I do not like playing video games" . People be crazy sometimes I guess...
